At Bethesda MRI, we make scheduling easy by asking the basic information listed below in one quick phone call. From the time of your phone call, we can schedule the exam usually within 24 hours. After we receive this information from the doctor's office, we call the patient for an extensive interview.

  3. Social Security #

  4. Home and Work Telephone Numbers

  5. Doctor's Name

  6. Type of MRI Study

  7. Reason for MRI

  8. Type of Insurance and Authorization Number, if available

To Prepare Your Patients:

  • Please ask them to arrive 30 minutes prior to their scan time.

  • Have them bring along your written order and any previous report and/or films.

  • Remind them to call and get any necessary pre-approvals required by their insurance.

  • Access and prescribe medication if needed for anxiety.

  • Ask the patient to call Bethesda MRI if they have any questions before their MRI appointment.
